Chillage

Thanks for all the comments everyone, it was great that night when i was getting stuck into a bottle of wine and chilling out, hearing the 'email received' going off (set to the US Navy Warship Collision Alarm) on the laptop all the time. I was a bit drunk so had to read them all again in the morning.

Macken, great to hear from you, and was good to catch up at christmas, it's been too long. I don't know how you've managed to stay looking exactly the same all this time. Glad it's providing some relief for you.

The beard is now gone, as it was getting a bit unruly and doing my head in.

Have spent the last few days doing as little as possible. The heavy snow has cleared now, it was about 3 inches down here, 15 inches on the passes! Went into denver yesterday for a look around and met curly bob's mate Mark Torres, had a great hour or so in a bar and swapping interesting curly bob stories.

Bertie gets here in a few hours, so I've just stocked up with wine, and the fridge is full of beer. Very tempting to get stuck in, but I promised to drive him back from the airport. Dang.

Hi Kelv, am now packed, and just back from the pub where I've been sinking a few Red Stripes, in memory of the Castle in Newtown circa 1995 :) There's definitely a good feeling of anticipation - shame I'll only be joining you for a week.

Jammer! You'll love it here man, we got a great motel just at the start of the mountains. Kelv has put his bike aside for a couple of days of hard earned boozing so keep the training up with those stripes :)

See you at the aeroportamentalos tomorrow!
